The Collection of Evelyn from Ridgefield, Connecticut

The above watercolor is the newest addition to Evelyn's collection: white peonies blooming in the garden. I love the frame she has chosen for it and how well the painting complements the deep blue wall behind. Thank you Evelyn for sharing. It's delightful to see this painting in its new home! Evelyn has a wonderful collection of Zeh Original Art paintings going back to some of my first pieces. This sample includes works from about ten years ago to the present. All are watercolors except the large painting of white ibis in flight which is acrylic on canvas.

We are so pleased that she has shared part of her extensive collection with us!

Stephanie has been collecting my paintings on eBay. She says:

"I have 5 of your paintings in my office.
I'm a commercial real estate agent in New Brunswick, Canada. Many of my co-workers and clients admire your paintings when they visit my office. The flying Ibis in particular.... I think because we don't see birds like this in our neck of the woods...and of course... because it's so lovely!"

The Collection of the Willington Public Library

A generous town resident donated money for the brand new Willington Public Library to purchase artwork to adorn its walls. The librarians are art lovers and had a wonderful time visiting artists' studios to select artwork. They found two in my studio that they loved: the bench under the willow and the birch tree - both quiet paintings very appropriate for a library.

Later, they commissioned two more paintings - a Coral Reef canvas painting for the children's section and an acrylic on canvas of Poppies for over the main desk. They tell me they enjoy all the comments they get on the art collections particularly the poppies painting that is so prominent as soon as people walk in the front door. You can see the small plaques under most of the paintings which give credit to the donor.

The town residents and local artists are thankful to the donor, and we thank the librarians for sharing their collection!

Susan has a large collection of Zeh Original Art which she has purchased on eBay. Originally she showed her two small lilac watercolors pictured above with a painting from another artist. Now she has sent ten more photos for the Patrons gallery with her Zeh bird collection playing a starring role! What a beautiful collection, Susan! A big 'thank you' for sending the photos!

Pam and Rich have fond memories of Sunset Beach in Hawaii. They saw my 5x7 painting of this beautiful scene on eBay and knew they wanted a large watercolor for their foyer.

They've done a nice job of framing the painting I did for them. Pam writes, "We love your creation and are displaying it proudly in the entrance to our home. It brings such warmth and inspiration."

The Collection of Teena from Longwood, Florida

Here are a few pictures of Teena's large collection. She says she has small Zeh watercolors which she purchased on eBay "all over the house" along with collections of other artwork. I know that she has also given many as gifts to friends!

You may notice that two of the watercolors have no mat and most likely no glass. That is because they were painted on watercolor board and then varnished, eliminating the need for glass. You can also see how she has framed one of the miniature Art Cards - the sunflower - that are so popular on eBay - "floating" the painting on the backing. They look great, Teena! Susan and her husband have a beautiful large Gothic Revival style home that is full of artwork she has collected and also many she has painted herself. Directly above, you see a work she commissioned from me of a Provence window - a scene from her extensive travels in Europe. In one of the bedrooms is another Zeh Original, Geraniums by the Lake, which she has grouped with two of her own paintings. You can tell that she loves color!

When Laurie caught sight of a Zeh 5"x7" heron painting on eBay, she knew immediately it was what she wanted for the room you see above. The colors matched perfectly.

But as 5x7 is much too small for over a sofa, she decided to have a giclee print made of the image. We were dubious about making that large a print from such a small painting, but it turned out beautifully and looks elegant in the frame she selected. You have a good eye for color, Laurie!
